Directions to Idle Hour Tennis Club
GET MAPQUEST
FROM THE BLUE ROUTE: TAKE EXIT 5. Follow signs for Route 1 North. Go under
underpass at Rt 320, through the light at Springfield Rd. Continue ~1 mile to State Rd. You'll see the
Drexelline Shopping Ctr on the right and a Hess gas station on the opposite side of the road on the left. You have to turn
around because the club is on the southbound side of Rt 1 (Township Line Rd at this point). Go through the light at this intersection
and make the first left into a residential neighborhood. Follow the road around back to a stop sign This is Township
Line Rd on the southbound side. Turn right and go past the Hess station to the next entrance on the right where you'll
see our diminutive sign (just before the Beer distributor). Turn right into the driveway. FROM DOWNTOWN
PHILADELPHIA: Follow Schuylkill Expressway west from Center City. Exit at
Rt.1 South (Bala) and follow Rt 1 (City Ave) becoming Township Line Rd. Travel across Rt 3, through Havertown
and into Drexel Hill. At State Rd, you'll see a Hess gas station on the right. The entrance to the club
is just past the gas station. Turn right into the club's driveway.
