And, the TIA saw racquet sales increase by 37% in 2020 over 2019, amazing considering the flat growth the industry had been experiencing. All during a pandemic!

​We all know how Idle Hour Tennis Club opened adhering to recommended safety measures last spring, and we all agree it paid off: practicing social distancing, wearing masks on Club property, washing our hands, and being outside, allowed a much needed healthy activity for our members.

​As our lives were affected by the shut-down, I celebrate the precautions set in place by our President Hugh Roberts and Board Members to keep our playground open.
