WELCOME TO IDLE HOUR TENNIS CLUB!

​We are located near the Drexeline Shopping Center in Drexel Hill, PA.  The Club is a short commute from Delaware County, Center City Philadelphia, the Main Line, and Chester County. 
  
Idle Hour was established in 1911.  We are the oldest and largest tennis community in the Delaware Valley, with more or less 500 members at all skill levels.  Our members love tennis, and particularly love the fact that they can just show up and play, since reservations are not required. 
We have 14 artificial clay, Har-Tru, courts that reduce the shock on  joints and prolong years of play. These are open more than eight months a year. We have four hard courts, open year-round.

Four pickle-ball courts are available on one of our hard courts.
Tennis clinics and lessons are available from our Club Pros.
