MAP & DIRECTIONS TO IDLE HOUR
FROM THE BLUE ROUTE (Rt 476):
Take Exit 5 and follow signs for Route 1 North (State Road). Continue on Route 1 through the underpass at Route 320 and Springfield Road light. Drive through Rolling Road light. On your left just past the light, you will see Township Line Beverage and Speedway Gas. The Club’s sign and entrance road is located between them. The Club is on southbound Township Line Road and you cannot make a left turn onto the Club’s entrance road. Continue straight through the State Road light and turn around at the next light or onto a residential street. Alternatively, you can turn right onto State Road and turn around in the Drexeline Shopping Center. After turning around, turn right onto the entrance road to Idle Hour Tennis Club. NOTE: At the State Road light, State Road veers off to the right. Route 1 North becomes Township Line Road. FROM DOWNTOWN PHILADELPHIA: Follow the Schuylkill Expressway West from Center City. Exit at Route 1 South (Bala Cynwyd) and follow Route 1 (City Line Avenue which becomes Township Line Road). Drive through Havertown into Drexel Hill. At the State Road light, you'll see Speedway Gas on the right. The entrance to the Club is just past the gas station. You'll see our sign and entrance road, and then turn right.
